Ассоциация персистирующей тригеминальной артерии и АВМ

Можно также ожидать частой ассоциации АВМ с другими сосудистыми аномалиями с известным врожденными происхождением. За исключением аневризм, возникающих в 2,7–16,7% случаев вместе с АВМ, другие сосудистые аномалии, такие как персистирующие эмбриональные каротикобазилярные анастомозы, наблюдаются крайне редко. Первое наблюдение было описано Krayenbuhl и Yasargil (1957). Jayaraman et al. (1977) собрали в литературе 11 наблюдений персистирующей тригеминальной артерии, ассоциированной с артериовенозной мальформацией, и добавили еще одно наблюдение. В серии из 105 наблюдений церебральных артериовенозных мальформаций Moody и Poppen (1970) наблюдали только один случай с ассоциированной персистирующей тригеминальной артерией. В нашей серии из 500 АВМ персистирующей тригеминальной артерии обнаружено не было.
